Open Heart Fine Silver Clay Chain Link Necklace

I just finished this necklace today.  It was my first attempt at making links from fine silver metal clay.  It wasn't easy, but I'm happy with the results.  The links were tedious to finish, sand, and polish while they were all hooked together prior to firing.  It was a challenge to be careful and not break one while sanding them.

Have a great day!

I love this! I want to try links of some sort. How did you stop it from fusing together? Did you torch or use a kiln?

Hi Anise, Merry Christmas!
I used a torch. I fired them just for a minute or two first and shook them, then fired for the full time. They just didn't stick. Try it!
