Dr. John is coming to Dauphin Island this weekend!

It's a Spring musical festival on the Island this weekend!

It's going to be a full weekend on Dauphin Island this weekend.  We're having a Spring musical festival.  There will be bands at all the business' on the Island Friday afternoon and through the evening.  Even the bakery will have a band! Here's the rundown for Friday:

FRIDAY MAY 13TH: VARIOUS LOCATIONS

Bruce Jones:
Front porch of ACP Real Estate, 2 to 6 p.m.
Justin Fobes:
Lighthouse Bakery, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Fat Man Squeeze:
Dauphin Island Country Club’s Gulf View Grill 4 to 8 p.m.
Steve Varnes and Flatrock:West End Beach, 2 to 4 p.m
Ryan Balthrop and friends:
Tripletails Bar, 7 to 11 p.m.
Steve Varnes and Flatrock:
Island Rainbow, 4:30 to 7 p.m.
C.C. & the Midnight Groovers:
The Pelican Pub, 7 to 11 p.m.

And then Saturday, New Orleans keyboard great, Dr. John and the Lower 911 and world famous music machine The Dirty Dozen Brass Band will play at the Deepsea Fishing Rodeo site.  The gates will open at 3:00.  Read all about it here:  http://dauphinislandcoc.com/archives/277

And then next weekend.....is the annual crawfish boil by the Island Mystics!  Summer time is here and the Island is rebounding from the oil spill!  No thanks to BP!
